The Meledic Plateau

Thel Meledic Plateau is a joint nature reserve of geological, speleological, botanic garden and zoological type. The plateau is situated between 424 and 607 m above sea level and the landscape is extremely varied (geological, morphological, petrografic). The most representative karst lakes formed are Big Lake and Castle Lake, and the caves form a complex that brings together 47 large cavities, the largest being The S6 Meledicand The three inputs cave.
